The Power Of Breath Control (VIDEO)

The Power Of Breath Control (VIDEO)

The Power Of Breath Control: A Healthy person will take about 10-12 breaths per minute and breathe in 5-6 liters of air. An unhealthy person can take in 40-60 breaths per minute and breathe in 12 liters of air. BREATHING: Carbon Dioxide exerts primary influence on Breathing Efficiency. In fact, CO2 is a natural byproduct of Metabolism, and it is the doorway that lets oxygen reach our muscles. This is because the Red Blood Cells release the oxygen in the presence of CO2. The problem with most people is they have a tendency to “overbreathe.”

Over breathing leads to too much CO2 being exhaled by the lungs. Thus, the presence of CO2 in the blood is greatly reduced. This lowers your body’s tolerance to CO2. As a result oxygen isn’t being released as readily into the tissues and organs from the blood. This leads to lethargy, fatigue and exhaustion. With a lowered tolerance to CO2 your breathing volume remains above normal as the receptors in the brain continuously stimulate breathing in order to get rid of CO2.

This is because your brain perceives the CO2 levels to be in excess of the receptor’s programmed limits. Correct Breathing: Breathe in and out, nice and light, through your nose. Practice it daily. As Patrick Mckeown states, “breathe light, to breathe right.” Nasal breathing also stimulates the release of Nitric Oxide, which causes the blood vessels to relax and dilate. This increases blood flow, reduces cholesterol, reverses plaque build up, and prevents blood clotting.

Ultimately, NO2 “allows blood flow to be directed effortlessly around the body, ensuring vital organs receive sufficient oxygenation and nutrients. Focusing on breath control will play a dramatic role in your energy levels.

You will be able to achieve better energy levels, simply by focusing on breathing lightly through your nose on a daily basis. You can Subscribe to Patrick Mckeown’s Youtube Channel Here: https://www.youtube.com/user/Oxyathlete
