The Journey of A Believer

By Dr. Jason Bergerhouse

The Journey of A Believer

Before I met my wife I had always been a believer but I wasn’t “all” in as some would say. There was a point in my life that I realized things needed to shift for the better. I was arrogant, selfish, conceited, and could do no wrong. At the same time, I was tired of being alone – I wanted to meet the person I could spend the rest of my life with.

I was also tired of running and feeling like there was a parachute behind me holding me back. I felt like I wasn’t being the VERY best version of myself.

So I decided to start attending church at the Rock of Roseville and I began to feel my heart change for the better. Eventually, I would go on to get baptized there and then everything changed in my life.

After that, for whatever reason, my wife took interest in me; and all else followed…

People begin to “show up” in your life when you have a heart change. When you decide to change for the better. Because you attract that in which you are. It’s a simple principal but it rings much truer than you and I can even possibly fathom.

If you’re not a believer, I ask Why?
If you have not been baptized, I ask Why?
What is so scary about being born again?

Is the current way you’re living your life right now really that great?

At least contemplate this…

If everything happened by chance and we are all here by some random Big Bang that happened – What caused the big bang? Not only that but what gave life to matter? What created gravity? HOW CAN SOMETHING COME FROM NOTHING – IT IS AN IMPOSSIBILITY.

You see when we look at a car, we don’t think “wow, this amazing vehicle just randomly appeared.” We know without a shadow of doubt that the car had a creator/designer.

At least agree with me that you and I were created. Our DNA is the instruction book for everything about us! Who created our DNA? With it’s vast complexity, I ask, WHO MADE IT?

The Bible is very clear – > it states

Gen: 1:27

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

Psalms 139: 13-14

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Food for thought…

Maybe it’s not such a bad idea to grab that bible that has a mountain of dust on it and begin reading through it. I suggest starting with Romans Chp. 10:9.
